For the last two Wednesday nights at 10pm I've had a date. Not the kind of date I'd prefer with my man, but a date with 15 extraordinary emerging artist. It's a date on my couch with a glass of wine watching the new series on BRAVO called WORK of ART. http://www.bravotv.com/work-of-art/season-1/about
IS ANYONE ELSE WATCHING THIS???
I'm totally lovin this summer escape and I'm quickly picking out my favorites and who needs the boot. I anxiously await each challenge imagining what I would create if I was participating, then I critique each artist like I totally know what I'm talking about. Oh it's fun, so much fun!
My faves are Abdi and Nicole and my least favorite is Nao. BOO to her, she's mean.
If you are watching I would love to know your favorite. If you are an artist and not watching this on Wednesday nights 10/9 c on Bravo then YOU NEED A DATE WITH THE COUCH! it's just good clean fun:)

ARGH! I keep forgetting when that show is on and I've missed it every week Dx
ReplyDeleteI'm going to see if I can find old epis online somewhere. Yes I'm a sneak that way. Of course, Bravo's great about airing reruns ha ha
I'm going to head over to Linda's blog and check out that contest :)
I wish I got that channel! Hardly watch tv so only have like 5 channels. Sounds like my kind of show! :)
ReplyDeletehi!
ReplyDeleteI know you can find the reruns on bravo.com and on your DVR on-damand under, i believe, entertainment TV.
I'm not a huge tv fan but this show and shamefully HELL'S KITCHEN are the ones I watch.
Thanks for the votes!
Blessing to you girls!
btw i voted for u!!...*
ReplyDeletei forgot about that tv show!.. i'll definitely star watching!...*
ReplyDeleteI don't have TV, but I used to love Project Runway on Bravo! I hadn't heard of this one yet, but sounds good!
ReplyDeletemy sis loves that show, she is a fashion designer/mom in LA. Not having a TV is a blessing> TV is a TIME SUCK so i try and limit it to a couple of my favorite shows. I do miss LOST though.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments. I love getting to know you all.
I added your button to my blog! :)

I love this show! My favorites are Nicole and Miles, although I didn't like Nicoles last night - why do an interactive piece for a book cover? I loved the Dracula watercolor one best.
ReplyDeletethanks for grabbing me button:)
ReplyDeleteAbout the show...glad they sent the ole' lady home. She was spent. I didn't like either of my faves work last night, but I can only imagine how hard it is to produce something on command.
Thanks for visiting my blog, i hope you enjoy.
Jill
I've been meaning to watch that show! I'm glad so many people are interested in it. However, I fear it may be continuing the stereotype that us artists are crazy.
ReplyDeletearen't we??
ReplyDeleteit's funny - i just heard a commercial for this show, and i was very curious...
ReplyDeletei'll have to give it a shot. i have to say, it sounds like an odd thing to have a reality tv show for but, hey, i watched antm, so who am i to judge? :P
Hey Jill!
